Garfield Wins Sac Contest
Drum Corps News July 11, 1962
Newark, N.J., June 16 - The Garfield Cadets headed a field of eight junior corps to win a show held here tonight at Newark City Stadium by the Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights.
Garfield's 83.99 effort topped runner-up St. Catherine's Queensmen, who posted an 82.32. The other corps trailed badly.
