CORPS Photos

The Richmond Hawks, formed in 1957, was a junior marching and maneuvering drum corps based in Richmond, California, just outside San Francisco. They were sponsored by the Richmond Moose Lodge 550, as well as their own parents’ booster club.

Among the corps’ awards were the California Open Title, 1962-63, and a fourth-place finish in the VFW Nationals in 1963. Annually they sponsored the Pageant of the Red and the Black in August.

The corps’ colors were emerald red, black, and white.
