Pride of Soka is the drum and bugle corps for the students of Soka University in Hachioji in Tokyo. The group was founded in 1981 and authorized by the university as a club. Taking part in many events and contests, Pride of Soka Drum and Bugle Corps is known as the Royal Kilties in Japan and now represents Japanese drum corps.

The corps has promoted cultural exchange and world peace through its music to realize the spirit of its founding.

In Japan the Pride of Soka has actively taken part in the music and cultural events and contests. In recent years the corps took the second prize for five successive years in DCJ, Drum Corps Japan.

In addition, the corps played for many VIPs visiting the university, like former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev. They also traveled to Korea in 1988 and exchanged with a Korean marching band.

The Pride of Soka participated the DCI Championship in 1997 and 2000. They also finished a close second in Drum Corps Japan Championship competition in 2002.
