The Kilties, formed in 1992, is a senior marching, maneuvering, and parade corps based in Racine, Wisconsin. The group came into being as the result of two performances of alumni of the junior Racine Kilties, which had folded in 1982. The first of these performances was in 1986 for the 50th anniversary of the corps, the second in 1992 at DCI Finals in Madison.

The senior Kilts came out as a parade corps in 1993 and entered Drum Corps Midwest Senior competition in 1994. From the start the Kilts were a hit with the fans, always receiving three or four standing ovations during their very entertaining performances.

The Kilts shocked the DCM circuit in 1997 when they not only made DCM Finals for the first time, but also won the Senior Championship over Minnesota Brass, which had won every year since 1983.

1997 also saw the corps attend the DCA Championships. They made DCA Finals for the first time in 1998. They have also been regular performers at the Cumberland, Maryland, DCA show and the pre-Thanksgiving alumni corps show in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Among the championships won by the senior Kilties are these:

Drum Corps Midwest Senior Champions 1997
Drum Corps Midwest Senior Finalist 1997, 1998
Drum Corps Associates Finalist 1998

In 2003, the corps finished 14th in DCA Preliminary competition.

Mike Phillips was named executive director of the Kilties in late 2003.

The Kilties finished 14th in DCA Prelims in 2004. Sticking to the Scottish theme, the show was called 'Portraits in Plaid.'
