The Sunnyvale Golden Eagles were founded in 1967 and associated with the Sunnyvale Moose Lodge and Teamsters Local 287 in San Jose, CA. The corps director was Bill Nielsen Sr. (also bus driver, tour manager, equipment manager)

One of the corps sponsors and practice facilities were at the World of Music store in Cupertino, CA. The corps travelled throughout California and competed in the Jr. corps (Div B) class. The only out of state appearance was at the American Legion Finals in Portland, OR in 1970.

The corps was disbanded in January, 1971 with many members going to the Knight Raiders (San Jose, CA).
