The Little Devils of Bordentown NJ. was formed in 1959 by the American Legion Post 26 as a Sons of the American Legion corps. All member's were active members of the S.A.L. and in 1966 and 1967 the corps won the S.A.L. National Championship in Washington and Boston.

In its day the corps was one of South Jersey's best corps. The drum line was second to none and the brass line was just as good.

The corps was a member of the South Jersey Drum Corps Association as well as the National and Midatlantic Associations. The corps won championships in from 1963 to 1966. The corps won 46 shows out of 152 from 1960 to 1968 the final year in competition.

In 1968 the corps merged with the Vagabonds in late june and was on the field in 3 weeks. In l960 the corps entered the NJ Legion States and placed 15 out of 19 corps. on this day the corps followed St. Vincents, Blessed Sacrament, St. Lucy's and Garfield and following the devils were the Hawthorne Caballeros - all National champions. The average age that day was 9-1/2 years old and had no equipment before February.
