"Our Lady of Mercy Drum and Bugle Corps of Milwaukee, consisting of charming young ladies from Mercy High School have been selected to appear in the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington, D. C. They are representing Badgerland Corps activity. An intensive fund raising drive has been under way, and two-thirds of the goal reached some time ago, so no doubt they have their quota. Congratulations girls!! We wish we could all be with you, not only in spirit, but in person as well."
