The Crimson Buccaneers came into existence in 1977 as a name change from the Falcon-Ridgemen, which itself was a merger of the Polish Falcon Cadets of Elizabeth, New Jersey, and the OLPH Ridgemen of Brooklyn, New York.
The corps competed in DCI in 1977 and 1978, finished 15th in Class A in 1977 and 43rd in Open competition in 1978.
