The New Orleans Cadets, formed in 1948, was a junior marching and maneuvering and parade corps based in New Orleans. They were sponsored by the American Legion and VFW.

The corps’ colors were gold, red, and black.

Awards included second place in the 1959 VFW color guard competition in Los Angeles, and first place in the Venus Parade in 1964 and 65.

DCI hall-of-famer Moe Latour got his introduction to drum corps with the Cadets as an 11-year-old in 1949.
