Fajardo, a junior marching and maneuvering corps based in the Bronx, New York, was formed in 1970 as a parade corps. The group began field competition in 1986, winning several Drum Corps New York and Garden State Circuit championships.

The corps had the honor of performing in a New York ticker-tape parade honoring Nelson Mandela in June of 1990, an event witnessed by some two million people.

Fajardo finished 15th in the Class A-60 Prelims in 1990, which may have been their final year of existence.
