CORPS Photos

Clover Cadets were primarily a parade corps, complete with a color guard /honor guard, glock section, percussion and bugle line. They wore a gold (yellow) gaucho top with a cummerbund/drop sash, black pants with white/gold pinstripe, black shako and bucks (white shoes). They later changed to a kelly green cadet style top when they became active in winter indoor competition. They were the "feeder" corps to a much larger corps called the Shamrocks, but became the lone drum corps for McFadden Bros. Post from 1968 to 1979. The Clover Cadets were the last of the "neighborhood" drum corps; there was a time where you would find every kind of drum corps from Brooklyn neighborhood to neighborhood from the 50s to 70s.
