CORPS Photos

Anthony Privo D'Lallo and served the Grenadiers as director from 1948 to 1958. He was a member of "The All-American Drum and Bugle Corps and Band Association" from 1948 until his death in October of 1968. He played the two valve bugle and was a master musician with training at the Eastman School of Music.

The Brockport Grenadiers were part of the Lt. Rodney E. Dobson V.F.W. Post no. 2890 in Brockport, New York. They competed in the following National VFW Senior Championships in Chicago, Illinois in the Closed Senior Competitions:

1950- Third Place- Score 88.350 Inspection Caption Score- 99.0
The corps was a finalist from 1951-1953.

An old photo from the newspaper "The Brockport Republic and Brockport Democrat" dated August 31, 1950, Vol. 94, no. 46 shows the following members of the 1950 Brockport Grenadiers:

They competed against fifty-one (51) corps, one from
each state and territory in the United States.
The Brockport Grenadiers existed from 1948 to 1954 and then merged with the Batavia-Brockport Cavaliers in '54. The Batavia-Brockport Cavaliers went form 1954 to 1958.
