The Silver Knights Drum and Bugle Corps were located in Cutler Ridge, Florida. They were active from about 1971 til 1974. In 1974 they marched in the American International Open in Butler PA and the US open in Marion OH. In 1973 they marched in the VFW Nationals in New Orleans, though they never made it past prelims. They were contemporaries of the Miami Vanguards, the Floridians, and the Silhouettes, all located in the Greater Miami area at that time. The Silver Knights started from a boy scout troop in 1971. The director was Ed Moore. They were called the Perrine Scouts back then before becoming the Silver Knights. The first year they mainly marched in parades and first took the field for competition in 1972.
