The Royal Lancers represent the Cape Coral--Fort Meyers, Florida area and are sponsored by American Legion Post #90 of Cape Coral and VFW #2444 of Fort Meyers. Musical repertoire includes "Echano." "Land of Make Believe," "Sebony," "Black Saddle," and "What I Did for Love." Instructional staff: Bugles--Carl Russell; Drums--Rick Morales; M&M--Harry Wolonsky; Color Guard--Barb Tomalo; Drum Majors--Cecilia Dubeux and Diane Zabrowski; Corps Director--Harry Wolonsky. The Lancers are into their sixteenth year of competition making the VFW finals in 1978. They are current Florida VFW state champions.
