The Amboy Dukes, a senior corps, disbanded in the mid-1960s. In 1966, former members of the Dukes started a junior corps that they named the Little Dukes.

The Little Dukes originated in Perth Amboy and then relocated to Old Bridge, New Jersey. After several years they merged with the Imperial Guardsmen from Livingston, New Jersey, and became the Dukes of the Imperial Guardsmen.
