The Commanders, formed in 1976, was a junior marching and maneuring corps based in New York City.

Originally formed as a parade unit for all ages, the corps turned all junior in 1979. Competing in the American Heritage Circuit, MAA, and the Garden State Association, the Commanders also achieved the New York State American Legion Parade Championship in 1979.

The Commanders disbanded in 1984.
