Awards included the Class B Round-Robin Circuit Champions 1960 and 61; Maryland State American Legion Champions 1962-1966, and Eastern States Champions 1963-64. They were State champions for 5 straight years, a feat not accomplished in Maryland either before that time or after it.
St. Mary’s was also the first drum and bugle corps, either junior or senior level, to produce its own television show. It aired on WMAR-TV, Baltimore, Maryland on Thanksgiving weekend, 1964.
