The Ontonagon Mountaineers, formed in 1961, was a junior marching and maneuvering corps based in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The group's first competition came at a VFW convention in 1961, and early appearances were primarily in parades and concerts. Competition and travel followed, mostly in the upper Midwest. Notable appearances included the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Traverse City, Michigan, and the Michigan state American Legion convention.

The Mountaineers dispanded in the 1970s, to be replaced by a senior/alumni corps of the same name in 1998.
