The Asbury Park Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corps, formed in 1960, was a junior marching and maneuvering corps based in Asbury Park, New Jersey. They were sponsored by the Harold Daily VFW Post 1333. The corps competed in the Hudson Berkshire Circuit.

The Hurricanes wore black and gold cadet-style uniforms.

Most of the corps’ instructors came from the Hawthorne Caballeros. Two of the more famous alumni are Marty and Jimmy Hurley.

"Asbury Park Hurricanes, sponsored by Harold Daley Post 1333, V,F.W. of the United States, Asbury Park, NJ.
Organized in 1959 as a Parade and M. & M. Drum Corps, Corps has taken first place in a number of Parades in New Jersey. Only contest entered was a standstill in 1961. The Jersey Shore Council Championship and the Corps took second place.
Corps entered National Drum Corps ASSN. and Hudson-Berkshire Circuit at the end of 1961.
The first contest of the corps was held at Asbury Park High School, August 4, 1962. This is Hudson-Berkshire Corps.
Our Color Guard is made up of 13 girls and includes two Captains.We use 2 girl mascots with this unit.
The music end of the Corps is reserved to boys. This consists of 32 in the bugle line and 8 in the drum section.
The Corps uses 14 girl guidons in all contests and parades. On the field the Corps is under the direction of two majorettes.
