CORPS Photos

The Chung Wah Drum and Bugle Corps was active at least in 1958. Primarily an Asian corps, the group met at the Chung Wah Chinese School in the Chinatown section of Los Angeles. (Chung Wah means China East.) The group may have been sponsored by the American Legion.

Led by Bill Lee, an active duty Marine Corps noncommissioned officer, the group did include a few Caucasian members.
