The Carmelites was a junior marching and maneuvering corps based at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in the Italian south end of Springfield, Massachusetts. Originally founded by Joe Genero in the 1960s, the corps during its history was an all-boy corps, an all-girl corps, a fife and drum corps, and a winter guard unit.

The group competed in the Yankee Circuit, usually in Class B, with moderate success. They later moved the corps to the Mayflower Circuit, where they placed dead last for two straight years. The winter guard unit, however, was more successful, competing in the NEIPA Circuit during the 1970s.

The corps colors were maroon and gold, and the guard carried unique pastel-colored flags.

Weak management kept the corps weak, and upon losing the church sponsorship in 1975, the group reorganized as the Springfield Ambassadors, with several key members migrating to the Enfield, Connecticut, Centurions.
