Don Whiteley and Jim Jones, past editors

This is a different publication from the Chicago-based magazine of the same name which ceased publishing in 1965. The name was never copyright-cleared or trademarked by the people in Chicago. Don Whiteley and Jim Jones, the original owners, did that at the same time they had an award-winning logo designed for the new publication, based in Denver CO. When Steve Vickers purchased the newspaper from the printer, Richard Wentland (director of the Denver Blue Knights), the office was moved from Denver to the western suburb Golden and was there until Vickers moved to Madison WI in 1979.
