2001 is our first Chinese theme show, and is a natural next step in our evolution, following the previous jazz, broadway, and classical shows we have done. The title - New Editions for the Archives, relates directly to the corps historical heritage as the imperial curator of Chinese musical literature. New Editions for the Archives I is the first of a potentially unending series, introducing contemporary sounds of emerging Chinese films and symphonic wind literature in a mature musical collage for drum corps audiences.
