The Southern Tier Vagabonds, formed in 1959, was a senior marching and maneuvering corps based in Owego, New York. They were self sponsored but affiliated with the Binghamton American Legion Post 1645 and Owego VFW Post 1371. The corps’ colors were black, red, and white. Awards included the 1962-63 New York VFW Championships and Central Firemens Championships. The corps did not compete in DCA national events [Encyclopedia of Drum and Bugle Corps, 1966; A History of Drum and Bugle Corps, 2002] |
