About The Repertoire History Project

The goal of this project is to create as complete a history as possible of drum and bugle corps' repertoires. corpsreps.com includes corps from all eras - junior, senior, alumni. The data has been collected to be used in the interactive database. The database allows drum corps fans to get answers to such questions as:

Why am I doing this? One reason is that I have a real interest in music performed by drum corps. I have really enjoyed compiling this information. I make a point to listen to the original compositions whenever possible. The interactive site includes my suggested recordings for many of the songs. Also, I believe this will be a real service to the drum corps community.

The other reason is that I have an interest in developing Internet/Intranet database applications. For the last 14 years I have designed computer systems, mostly for insurance companies, as part of my actuarial and computer consulting practice. I wanted to create an interesting site that I could show prospective and current clients. I believe the web technologies available today offer companies benefits not available in traditional database approaches. Please see the Maher Associates, Inc. home page if you are interested in actuarial or computer consulting services.
